Saudi mercenaries continue to violate cease-fire in Hodeidah

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Saudi aggression and its mercenaries continued, Thursday morning, their violations of the cease-fire in the province of Hodeidah.

Al-Masirah Net reporter said that the invaders and mercenaries fired 13 mortar shells on the residential area, 7-Yolio.

The Saudi-mercenaries bombarded with medium machine guns at Hodeidah airport, he added.

At dawn, the Saudi-mercenaries burned down a civilian’s house by targeting it with a 23 caliber gun west of Ad-Durayhimi city.

On Wednesday night, the Saudi-mercenaries raided several districts in the city with large-calibre weapons. They also shelled the east and south of Al-Ku'ai in Ad-Durayhimi district with seven artillery shells.

The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohamed al-Houthi, holds the aggression forces responsible for obstructing the peace process and deteriorating the humanitarian situation in Hodeidah, as they refused to implement the start of the agreed redeployment plan.

Al-Houthi said in a statement that the countries of aggression do not deal seriously with the efforts of the international envoy or international efforts, pointing out that the given time for the aggression, by chairman of the Coordinating Committee General Michael Lollesgaard, to begin the redeployment has ended with no result.

He added that the obstruction of the aggression coalition to implement the first phase deprived the envoy to talk about progress in his briefing and that he has lost confidence.

He called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations and his Special Representative to implement the Stockholm agreement in Hodeidah, calling at the same time for an international pressure on the aggression countries to start redeployment.

He also called on the European Union to form a committee to support the United Nations peace efforts in Yemen, and pressure on the one who obstruct the peace.
